Policy Advice

We are adept in providing policy advice, development of public policies, and organize diverse stakeholder consultations and dialogue to help forge consensus. DIS provides policy advice on range of development issue including education, labour, international labour standards, skills training, social protection, gender, health, and CSR.

Monitoring & Evaluations

We carry out mid-term and final evaluations of projects and programs. Our research tools and critical analysis are customized and capture both intended and un-intended outcomes. The primary and secondary information collected is processed to determine if the project created an impact at higher strategic programme framework level. Our evaluations and impact assessments determine with evidence if the desired results have been achieved.

Stakeholder Dialogue

Design and conduct stakeholder’s assessments and dialogues on policies/issues and help develop unique solutions. We conduct dialogue among representatives of employers’, workers’ and government representatives to help force consensus on human rights and labour rights related issues.

IT Solutions

We offer innovative IT solutions to typical development challenges and bring more value to projects and programmes. Our capacity to offer simple IT solutions to complex information management challenges sets us apart from typical development interventions. Our IT solutions transform monitoring and regulatory functions much efficient and effective.

Programme Development

Projects and program development is another area of our competency. Through our multi-disciplinary team we offer innovative solutions to development challenges. We maintain international standards in developing results-based performance management frameworks, logical frame-work analysis that are based on theory of change. We develop project implementation tools that ensure that project remains on course.

Media & Communications

To obtain higher visibility and recognition for the issue and intervention, we design unique communication campaigns that rely on electronic, print media, social networking websites and SMS. We have expertise to develop international standards video documentaries, and information education and communication products. We also engage print and electronic journalists in building media capacity on human rights issues.
